Senator Zargo prayed the indulgence of plenary to summon the electoral body to bring the Senate up to speed as to how it intends cleaning-up the FRR as ordered by the Supreme Court.

“I am pleased to curvy your indulgence to invite the officials of the NEC including its chairman to come over on Tuesday, December 14, 2017 to appraise this honorable body on how it intends to fix the problems associated with the election as contained within the modification of the Supreme Court`s Opinion,” Senator Zargo’s communication noted.

His communication comes as a result of the Supreme Court ruling in the case involving the Liberty Party and the National Elections Commission over the results of the October 10 polls, in which the LP alleged that the just ended elections were marred by fraud and irregularities which undermined the election results.

The Supreme Court in its ruling ordered the NEC to cleaning-up the Final Registration Roll (FRR) and submits same to all of its magistrates and to as well display same to all polling places across the country before the conduct of the runoff election.
