The Monrovia City Court has ordered some alleged employees of the director of the General Service Agency Mary Broh for simple assault. In furtherance of the order, the court has mandated Captain Julius B. Swen, magistrate police to arrest the living body (ies) of Timothy S. Synenkai, Emmanuel D. Freeman, and Cyrus M. Johnson to be identified defendants and bring them to court to answer to charges of simple assault.

The court`s decision is based upon an oath and a complaint filed by Sheikh A. Kouyateh. It is substantially alleged that on the 10th day of august 2017, at the birth certificate center, (Bureau of Vital Statistics) the within named defendants being there with intent to cause private prosecutor bodily injury, purposely with violence jumped on said private prosecutor, beat and inflicted pains and injuries (wounds) on his body, thus causing the prosecutor to sustain pains.
The alleged act by the defendants is unlawful, wicked and it violates Section 14.21 of the New Penal Law of the Republic and crime herein defendants did and commit.
The writ indicated that contrary to the force and effect to the Statutory Laws of Liberia in such cases made and proven against the peace and dignity for this Republic and for so doing this shall constitute your legal and sufficient authority and have this writ of arrest.

Meanwhile, speaking to reporters after issuance of the writ of arrest, defendant Sheikhai Moustapha Kouyateh has demanded justice in the case, expressing disappointment in the Liberia National Police failure to cite the GSA director for such act meted against upon her order.

“Liberia should be a Heaven where justice will be served to everyone regardless of status or position in government,” he lamented. Kouyateh alleged that the police and the court have been unfair in the matter for failing to summon Mary Broh who claimed to be above the laws of Liberia as this is a country of law and not men.

Kouyateh, who is a former Montserrado County senatorial candidate in the 2011 elections, cited that from whence things are preceding it is sensed that justice is being denied, adding that any attempt to bend the law he will seek justice on the international scene.

“Mary Broh is noted for continuously violating the rights of peaceful citizens of Liberia and should not go with impunity at this time,” Koyateh insisted.
