-Inducts Corps of Officers Soon

The Federation of Road Transport Union of Liberia (FRTUL) has elected new corps of officers to steer the affairs of the body for five years. Announcing the new corps of officers Monday May 22, 2017 at the FRTUL headquarters on Water Street, the interim president Stanley J. Dingwall, Sr. told reporters that the electoral process which was held in faraway Maryland County over the weekend on May 19, 2017 was peaceful and indeed transparent.

Dingwall, who is also the president of the FRTUL Montserrado County chapter, said when inducted into office the new leadership will begin to introduce a standard ticketing system in the country to ensure accountability.

He lauded the Ministry of Labor for cordial working relationshipand especially the traffic division of the Liberia National Police for improving public safety. According to him, though induction ceremony is being planned.

Those elected are William Papa Flomo, president, Theresa Vasconah, vice president for administration, Kesselley Gayflor, vice president for operations and Obediah Tarlue, general secretary. Others are Ellington Gbeahi, deputy secretary, Alphonso Nyangbeh, treasurer and Mamadee Sanor, adviser.
