A religious organization, Network of Christian Churches in the Township of West Point has endorsed the candidacy of Liberty Party standard bearer Charles Walker Brumskine. 

Image result for Religious Group Endorses BrumskineAt the endorsement ceremony Wednesday October 4, 2017, the network said Brumskine as shown his level of obedience to God by contributing to churches in Liberia.

Responding to the endorsement, Cllr. Brumskine noted that God has answered the prayer of Liberians by giving them a God-fearing person like to lead the people according to God`s plans and purpose for the country.

“A leader must be a man with one wife and not taken to drunkenness, a God-fearing leader who has not been involved with war or destroying the feature of young Liberians,” he stated.

He added that his consistency is as the result of the divined call to rule the nation; not because he is power-greed as others may term it. The Liberty Party political leader vowed to reduce his salary as President along with that of the lawmakers if elected on October 10.

Making the statement, Cllr. Brumskine promised to set up a proper government that will improve the education sector, enabling the common to have access to better education; as sound education is the fundamental right of every child irrespective of financial background.

He assured that his government will provide cordial relationship among various tribal groups in Liberia so as to eliminate the issues of Congo and natives and make them to live as one family.

He further observed that the needs of the country have not been addressed by the Unity Party-led government. “Liberians are tired of suffering. This is not time for a child who does not know anything about the country to rule or an old man with vision, but it’s about time for a child of God who shares the vision of the people to rule,” Brumskine stated.

He cautioned Liberians to vote the feature of the country by electing a President who will take Liberia from mat to mattress. “The decision you make October determines your fate for the next six years. Make a wise decision by voting Brumskine for better and healthier Liberia,” he said.
