“The retreat is an opportunity for the party stalwarts, campaign team, and candidates to have a full appreciation of the party’s path to victory”, stated Chairman Gould.
There were shouts of joy and battle cries from the various groupings of the party: youth, women, auxiliaries, and representative candidates; and the conference hall were filled with jubilation from the 300 participants. “We are excited about the retreat because it is hugely increasing acquaintance building, consolidating relationships, and enhancing the team spirit for a one round victory”, joyously stated Atty. Addressing the delegates, Mr. Cummings responded to issues of logistics and sent the crowd wild with the announcement of vehicles, motorbikes and helicopter. He also continued with the following: “Liberia deserves better, real change is coming, and I am determined to be that change that the Liberian people can trust”. He called on the partisans not to remain complacent because they have the best candidates but encouraged them to go into the fields, communities, and every nuke and corner of the 15 counties to sell him to the voters.
“From this day forward, I am going to be in the fields with you, reaching out to every Liberian and convincing them that I am the best candidate,” he added. We are going to win this election and as President, Liberians are going to benefit disproportionately from our country’s resources. He concluded.
