VP Boakai Addresses Health Workers At Phebe Hospital

The vice president of the Republic of Liberia, Ambassador Joseph Nyumah Boakai has lauded health workers at the Phebe Hospital in Suakoko, Bong County for risking their lives to save other citizens. 

Vice President Boakai made the commendation at the when he met health workers after a brief stop hospital while en route to Gbarnga over the weekend. Ambassador Boakai added that he always appreciates the kind of work the health workers are doing in saving lives.
He also stated that he has a friend who will give the hospital a mobile blood bank because he thinks about them all of the time.
The vice President used the occasion to laud workers at the hospital for the great work they are doing to save lives at the risk of their own.
Ambassador Boakai, however, presented L$100,000 to workers at the hospital for what he referred to as “cold water”.
Speaking on behalf of the Health Workers Association and Employees Association of the Phebe Hospital, Mr. Gabriel Sumo Yahnquavah thanked the Vice President for identifying with them and at the time promised to support his presidential bid for the 2017 elections.
