With barely a week to the close of the presidential campaign in the country, the standard-bearer of the Alternative National Congress (ANC), Mr. Alexander B. Cummings (ABC) continues to receive the supports of the Liberian people.

Mr. Cummings recently toured vote-rich Nimba County where he was received by the people overwhelmingly. While in the commercial city of Ganta, Mr. Cummings appeared on Voice of Gompa, a station owned and operated by one of the staunch supporters of Vice President Joseph Nyuma Boakai of the governing Unity Party, former Nimba district#4 representative now district#1, Nohn Rebecca Kidau.

The ANC’s first partisan had deliberations on Voice of Gompa, there he emphatically established again the unconditional persecution of government officials who will steal from the public.

After the radio program, the political ‘Talk & Do’ began his usual walking through the city from the ANC’s local headquarters which has always won for him more admirers.

As usual, he walked around big and small businesses to know their issues and concerns, but importantly to know what have always been their challenges.

While walking through the city, Mr. Cummings encountered several business women. They include Fatu Kehzie of F2 Business Center, Winifred Gussi of WINGUS Business Center, Ome Jallah, Salome Suah, Ma Yah Dolo, Everlyn Dolakeh, Musu Jabateh, Sekou Toure Kromah among others.

Those business gurus further expressed their frustration about the difficult economic conditions for buyers and sellers, the level of inflation and worst of all, the appalling road conditions to get goods to the interior where they have their sub branches.

For ABC part, he said as trained entrepreneur when elected he will certainly leverage Liberian businesses without apologizing to any. He maintained that Liberians will disproportionately benefit and they will not be spectators to their own economy even though investors will be protected.

Mr. Cummings and his team visited Bahn, one of the economic hubs of Nimba County, where he met Ambassador Targen Wantee, campaign manager for Nimba County who warmly welcomed Mr. Cummings and his entourage with complete happiness.

There were several speeches made in Bahn, Nimba electoral district#7 with the Chief Elder Representative Elder David Kwakar saying citizens of Bahn will never ever forget ABC for providing them radio through a Representative candidate of the ANC, William Dahn.

Youth representative Oldpa Sam spoke of ABC’s tireless contributions to academic in Liberia without limitation whatsoever, and the Zah Mawata Sackor, Bahn Marketing Association said their confidence remains focused on ABC development for market women.
They assured the team that they are committed to demonstrating their will comes October 10, 2017 for ABC. During the tour, Mr. Cummings and his team including Honorable William Dahn dedicated the Gblah Township Bridge in electoral district #7. Mr. Cummings dedicated a bridge for the first time since the creation of Liberia to link people from the other side of the Township. ABC said “this is just the beginning of what ANC, its legislative body and the entire ANC government will be willing to do for Liberia and Liberians”. At the same time, Saye Larkpor, campaign manager for district#7 welcomed the ANC team.
For the City Mayor, who is a passionate admirer of ABC, he said Mr. Cummings’ contribution will never leave the minds of Liberians just as October 10 is engraved on Liberians’ mind. Chief Franklin Toweh, Paramount Chief said Nimbaians are well prepared to take the lead in rewriting Liberia new history through ABC able leadership for all Liberians comes October 10.
