Lofa County Superintendent, George Dunor, has termed allegations coming from some citizens of the county that he along with the County Attorney looted the only Ebola Treatment Center (ETU) that was built in Voinjama.

Refuting claims in Monrovia over the weekend, Superintendent Dunor disclosed that the allegations are total foolishness that is meant to destroy his good reputation to the President.

He said after the end of Ebola outbreak in the country, the center which was been use by government to treat Ebola patients was turned over to the county authority through his office.

“The ETU that they have always called on radio to talk about was turned over to us totally empty, we requested for vehicles but USAID told us that the four vehicles that were used at the center were turned over to the Liberia National Red Cross Society for use along with other materials including tankers, containers were all taken away by the international organization, not even a thing did they leave for the county,” he said.

Superintendent Dunor said after they turned over the empty center to us, I mean the the football filed in the area, we then turned it over to the leadership of the Lofa County Sport Committee and we were done with that.

“For people to come out to say that we looted the ETU and took away things that were left there by USAID, ii is a total rubbish and I think they just want to distract my attention” he explained.
