Three children, six, five and a one and a half years old of the New York Street community in Buchanan Grand Bassa County have died as a result a fire incident.

The fire according to eyewitnesses gutted the 12-bedroom residence in the community at about 12:00midnight local time till Wednesday morning. According to Luke Chessman, an eyewitness who lived in the house, his aunty Sundayway Chessman allegedly has a demon behind her that can embarrass her, a situation that prompted her to have gone to a prayer band. “The prayer band began to pray for her and was later given a candle to use in her room.”

According to Sundayway, when her house mate arrived home Tuesday night on the October 24, 2017 she lighted the candle and the demon allegedly began to shake her and with that happening, her hand, in a state of oblivion fell on the candle and it rolled over the mattress and the fire started to escalate.
“Troubled by the alleged demon, she started to feel the fire, she ran outside in complete confusion not realizing that she had three children with her in the room,” she narrated.
The narrator further explained that before everyone could noticed the fire, it has gone beyond control that nothing could be done.
Luke explained that the fire went wide when the tiger generator in the house also got on fire.
Luke Chessman further explained that when the alleged demon enters the lady, she can throw stones, pick up knife and cut herself and run behind others with the intention of harming them.
He lamented the alleged demon has been embarrassing the lady from her youthful age.
Meanwhile, the superintendent of Grand Bassa County Joseph Levi Demmah expressed disenchantment as a result of the incident and cautioned every citizen of the county to be mindful with fire and mosquito coils.
