The Buchanan Magisterial Court in Grand Bassa County has charged eight men with armed robbery, criminal conspiracy, possession and sale of physical objects for lethal use, burglary and criminal mischief. 

The charges were levied against them after a complaint from the Buchanan branch manager of Global Bank, Princess K. Kollie.
Several arrests were made by the police coupled with investigation.
The individuals allegedly involved according to court reports are Emmanuel Brooks of Logan Town in Monrovia, Wayea Tarnue of Clara Town in Monrovia, Varney Kamara of Free Port in Monrovia, Johnson Okun of Point Four in Monrovia, Moses Perry Fallah of Caldwell also of Monrovia and Zaytu Baboon of Buchanan City among others.
After the charges were read to the individuals on Thursday June 29, they were transported to the Upper Buchanan Prison Center to await court trial.
Prior to the charges, a communication from Princess Kollie, manager of Global Bank located on Tubman Street in Buchanan, stated that there was no loses of cash sustained, but she disclosed that both front steel doors padlocks and cylinder locks were damaged as a result of the incident.
The report is quoted as saying that two single barrel short guns, two
single barrel rounds, two black back bags containing two chasers, one
drilling machine, one hammer, two screw drivers, one plier, one
spanner, two steel files, one drilling machine charger and assorted
keys were arrested during the process when the police swiftly
The mentioned materials were described as physical evidence by the
court during the presentation of the multi charges that ended the
eight men in jail.
Meanwhile, the arrival of the alleged individuals involved in the matter generated a huge turnout of citizens at the Administrative Building that hosts the Buchanan Magisterial Court to witness the episode, with a promise to attend the trial of the eight men. The men are expected to appear in the court Tuesday July 4, 2017.
