-To Aspire For Financial Independence
An astute clergyman has cautioned a newly wedded couple that in order to make a marriage successful, the two must aspire for financial independence to make them happy.

Making the disclosure Flag Day on August 24, 2017 when he gave the exaltation during the souvenir program for the solemnization of the holy matrimony of the bride and groom, James L. Boayou and Deboria Kpah, Rev. Joseph T. Jallah cited three key issues that make marriage last.
The pastor of the Bethel Peniel Church in Soul Clinic community in Paynesville cited three key things that make marriage successful as one leaving his/her parents to cleave and co-habit in love, independence and finance.
He called on the couple to observe all the norms that are required of a good husband and wife to co-exist in love, settling disagreement among themselves and most of all to be financially independent at all times.
“Without observing these three key things in a relationship, a marriage is doomed to fail,” the clergyman observed.  In a statement by the groom, he said both of them have surrendered their lives to God to sustain their relationship by making the wedding a reality.
“For us, a new day has dawned. We commit ourselves to each other from this day forward. Pledging our love with ultimate fulfillment and satisfaction, believing in each other, both in good and bad times with the willingness to struggle and suffer when such situation arises throughout our delicate love for a better future,” the groom said.
He used the occasion to appreciate family members, friends and co-workers at the Ministry of Post and Telecommunications for identifying with him through their contributions and prayers.
Mr. Boayou said the journey to a thousand miles begins with a single step, but their voyage of life and love begins with the Lord, their provider, keeper and their strength.
